Fundraising Events

We bring the country’s top athletes into primary schools to run a fun fitness circuit with the children and then deliver an inspirational assembly. It’s an exciting and memorable day for students and teachers with a lasting impact; we provide the events completely free to schools, and kids raise money through sponsorships in the run-up to the event which goes towards a sports equipment voucher for the school to spend, improving physical activity engagement and facilities.

At Great Athletes our goal is to inspire every child to lead a more active, resilient and healthy life. The athletes who visit are fantastic role models who show the children the power of hard work and perseverance.

Benefits of Getting Involved

Sponsoring an event near you enables you to be a part of this perspective-changing moment in the lives of children in your community, and connects your business to the families who live nearby, encouraging them to engage with you. In return for your donation, appreciation of your support will be included in emails going out to all parents at the school, including your logo and a short message from you. In addition you can get a large banner promoting your business’ involvement outside of the school, and give you the opportunity to collect your own social media content by attending part of the event*. Below are our standard sponsorship packages, however we strive to ensure that this initiative fulfils the needs of any businesses entering into it and we are more than happy to tailor a custom package just for you.

*What we offer in return is dependent on the amount you donate. A DBS check must be made for anyone attending a school event.
