Inspired by his teachers in Rotherham, Joe took up swimming. Since 2009, he’s competed in the 4 major games and made a splash as the only British swimmer to qualify for three individual events in the London 2012 Olympics. Joe also rocked the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, competing in the 100m and 200m butterfly, and the 200m individual medley. Joe's journey shows that with the right encouragement, you can achieve amazing things!
