Who is your visiting athlete? Fabienne was born with cerebral palsy, affecting her movement, coordination, and vision. She got into sport as a teenager and began swimming at Mid Sussex Marlins Swimming Club to aid both her recovery from an operation and support her ongoing health and well-being. Through a desire to try something new and with a goal of completing a triathlon, Fabienne gave wheelchair racing a try. Fabienne fell in love with the sport and decided to travel to London to train with the top wheelchair racers and coaches. Fabienne's most recent focus has been on the Paris 2024 Paralympics!
